One Weekend Before Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2013

It is the second last weekend of our fasting month and I made a trip down to Geylang Serai with my bro to get some food for break fast that evening!
Yes, we took his car and I had all the time in the world to be camwhoring by Moiself..hahahahahha a very rare chance for me loh (since Im always the driver).
We started in the late afternoon so that the weather would not be such a bore but still, the sinking sun still manage to emit sufficient heat to test me …ugh…
This shop has the best dendeng, burger bakar and such, but my bro decided that we shall buy from the stalls outside..cos got the feel of Raya Food Buys….waddddd XD
In Joo Chiat area every Raya celebration have a gathering point and here ladies and gentleman will be one of the point-Avoid it all cost when dusk arrives….
Then the following pictures will have to be the makan…oh my gosh the plethora of food selection is oh em geeeeee….
Im a happy woman, with all the food for my family in the evening!
Just a note that traffic and parking may be cray cray during this period in Geylang Serai area. So if you must, park either at Singpost building or City Plaza (free parking on sundays ;)). Then enjoy the walk down the street as it will be full of shops selling clothes, carpet, food and many many other stuff.
On the other hand, if you are going to take the public transport, the nearest MRT would be Paya Lebar or there are fairly sufficient buses which comes from different parts of Singapore.
The shops never seem to change every year but still there would be people who made it part of their family tradition to head on down to Geylang Serai
It has been a while over many years that I went down to Geylang Serai in the afternoon rather than the evening, but it was because firstly my brother volunteered to drive me there and secondly, the weather was initially forgivable ahhaa…
I didnt even know how I survived but near the end of the outing, I was at top speed trying to get back into the car, with Airconditionerrrr…Rawwwrrr
I asked for my bro to help me take a pic with the busy background, but there was a fly on my eye and it decided to say hi…all these my bro captured in pictures…Uhhh
So we also wanna have our cool moments right and colours can be warm so black and white is the chill new colour #JustSaying
Salam Ramadhan to all Muslims and Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir Dan Batin!
Peace be upon you,
