LG Sound360!

Having my own personal portable speaker have always been something that I wanted but not need. Getting my hands on one from the recent LG media launch when I attended previously I had the joy to experience an astonishing sound system in the comfort of my own….room. Yeah! It was nothing that I would want to comment as a living room sound system however to enjoy in a smaller space with a TV or computer, this speaker speaks volume (if you get what I mean ;)).

During the media launch, they announced their spectacular 2016 lineup of consumer audio solutions. Featuring their sound bars as well as their Wi-Fi enabled and Bluetooth speakers. Out of the whole array of audio solutions, I am going to write this post based on my review of the bluetooth speaker, Sound360.

As LG prides itself on creating smart technology which is not only efficient but also consumer-centric, I am also honoured to own a set of Sound360 and have innovation working for me in style.

One brilliant offering from the LG Music Flow Bluetooth series will be the P7 (I know right, the name is simple yet yet yet….I have no idea what does it mean honestly, maybe its Part 1,2,3, then finally…7) . The speaker is equipped with Multi Point Access function allowing device to connect up to three Bluetooth devices at the same time and switch between them without any hassle. The Bluetooth speaker is also compatible with LG TV to obtain powerful stereo sound by connecting two P7s to a TV or smart phone. Imagine a surround sound system while you chill to a movie in your bedroom. So Netflix and chill? 😉

As part of LG’s Music flows, LG states their commitment to expand its wireless audio category to offer the most advanced products with compelling design and versatility.

As a successor to P7, Music Flow P5 supports LG Auto Music play feature which begins playing music automatically when the audio source comes within range and having a rechargeable battery that allows 15 hours continuous playback!

Now finally, something inspired by a coffee tumbler to fit into our daily lives, LG are appealing to today’s active listeners like you and me. The easy-to-use LG Sound360 is a perfect fit to all aesthetic get-up. As they say, Party Anywhere, everywhere with Sound360.
Unlike normal speakers which give a one dimensional sound flow, as the name states Sound360 is a well-rounded speaker system which makes it suitable for large group settings as the cylindrical speaker has a 360-degree range so music sounds great regardless of the listeners.

Now, for the tech savvy geeks (sorry, intellects who likes to compare deets before making any purchases) I have a simple comparison table for your reference below)

For the Sound360, I like the function of it turns on with a press of the top which imitates very much like a water tumbler, oh did I mentioned that I was using on my table when I picked up the wrong “tumbler” when I was going to drink my water…pffft noob mistake I must say!

The touch screen features are all available on the top cover, to activate the bluetooth, increase and decrease volume. I can also control the play and stop the music from the Sound360, including the EQ activator.
After testing it for a 5 hours continuous playback, the speaker did not emit any heat nor did the cylinder body felt hot or whatsoever. I was still easily playing the music while watching some drama from my Macbook.
As of now, the Sound360 is slated to be released during Q2 this year, and the price starts from S$229.
Do keep a lookout for the release in store coming real soon!
