Last month, Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (“Vietjet”) celebrated the launch of its inaugural flight connecting Singapore and Hanoi.
Officials from both Changi Airport Group and Vietjet, as well as travelers were surprised and delighted by an impromptu flash mob dance by Vietjet cabin crew.
The flight, which operates on a daily return basis departs from Singapore at 2.55pm (local time)
and arrives at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi at 4.50pm (local time). The return leg departs
from Hanoi at 10.00am (local time) and arrives at Singapore Changi Airport at 1.55pm (local
time). The flight time per sector is approximately 2 hours and 55 minutes.
Tickets for the new route are now available to purchase at http://www.vietjetair.com, with flights
costing as little as S$0 within Vietjet’s promotional hours (1-3pm GMT+8).
Hanoi is Vietjet’s second route connecting Vietnam and Singapore after Ho Chi Minh City, and
was introduced to meet the increasing business and tourist needs between the two destinations.
The airline is also planning to connect Singapore with Da Lat and Da Nang in the near future.
Vietjet currently operates two daily return flights from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City, departing
from Changi International Airport at 1.05pm and 5.55pm. The return flight leaves Tan Son Nhat
International Airport at 12.05pm and 1.50pm. The flight time is approximately 2 hours. From
here, passengers can connect to over 60 domestic and international destinations.
